well Dixie, Georgia will have to rely on Arkansas to beat Missouri, if they don't... then we won't get in the sec title game.
I think Arkansas can do it, theres not a hotter team in football, if we do get in, we won't be a pushover for you. we could jump up and beat you..

well, I don't doubt your going to win it, if you don't, that would be two seasons in a row that saban had to swallow that bitter pill.
Missouri and Arkansas play Friday. I'll be sweating that one, man have a good thanksgiving............ bennie. I hope Sabin chokes on that pill!!! (Sorry Dixie) I got screwed twice by that evil little man. I wasn't upset when he left LSU to go to Miami because I am die hard Dolphin through and through, but when he left them in shambles I took on the mentality of every other LSU fan. I'll be honest, he played the system right, so hats off to the man. Also, what do you guys think about this four team playoff system? I'm still undecided. It used to be a race to number one and two, but now its reiterating the same thing week to week. (Not saying anything about the teams, they are clearly at the top, minus FLA ST, but the Gators are gonna end that dream for them this week.) I heard last night during the game that if we were still using BCS, TCU would be ranked second in standings, bet they want that system back Lastly, gotta retract my previous statements earlier this year about Fournette. The kid put the team on his shoulders and carried us to victory. He will be a top back as long as he continues to grow. well, lalou. an 8 team playoff would be better, maybe cut down to a max of ten games in a regular schedule. four is not enough. I mean what do you do with tcu, Baylor, ohio st? an 8 team playoff would be ideal. the bcs sucked, but this isn't that much better. as far as fournette goes, I wish Georgia had him now that gurley is hurt.
I heard the n.o. saints think he's the best back thev'e seen In college. he going to do well in the pros.

I agree with the 8 team system. Four is too close to leave out three teams (even though I'm pretty sure we all agree OH. St. will flop to the SEC like they have in every major bowl game the past decade.
Eight would actually be a great idea Binnie. When it comes to the 7th and 8th seeds it wouldn't be as much pressure on those behind them because lets face it, the top five or six teams are usually a head above the rest of the nation so a 7 and 8 would be like wildcards.
Regardless, one of those teams are gonna get left out and cry about how they should be "Partial Champs" because the committee didn't like the way they won or some BS. But then again at the end of the day I believe this comes down to Oregon-Bama-Miss St. depending on the rankings after this week.
Hell who knows if FL. St. loses to Florida an unranked SEC opponent, Miss. St. should get a 3 seed depending on Oregon's performance. I'm assuming 1 will play 4 and 2 will play 3 for the first round then the winners on to the championship.
Bama should get there but they will have a tougher time given the opponent quality. Auburn this week then depending on the outcomes, whoever the SEC EAST champ is. It actually favored Miss St. to lose that one game because it gives them an extra week off while they let the dominos fall.
I think it will be 1. Bama, 2. Oregon, 3. Miss st. and 4. TCU, Baylor, OH. St. (Whoever they want to let Bama crush). I'm not even throwing FL St in the mix because let's face it, you give LSU that schedule as bad as we are this year and we would be undefeated also. They are on borrowed time and they know it.
Another championship showdown featuring two SEC WEST teams is still plausible. Its crazy one conference can be that dominant. EVERY team in the west is going bowling this year. I don't think that's ever been accomplished before.

I know exactly what you mean. if they take all the conference winners, and some who have weak schedules they are not qualified.
if they consider undefeated teams in weak conferences, it is not fair. nobody can go undefeated in the sec. a team is lucky if they come out with 1 or 2 losses.
Georgia is not in the sec title game and they beat one of the two 34 to zip. but, they lost one game on a field goal.
the sec is so brutal because its the toughest place to play football in the country. at least two sec teams should be in the final four, if the auburn team with cam newton was playing last year, fla st. would have been toast. and what sec dominance. I go this way depending on auburn- Alabama. 1 Alabama [after crushing Missouri] 2 Oregon 3 ohio st, 4 tcu.

sorry about you off the boards for three days. you didn't deserve it. No biggie, just got tired of seeing an idiot repeat himself constantly. Omg as a big time Nebraska Cornhusker fan wat a joke of a hire Mike Riley really? Omg Nebraska is goin become a joke with this guy.. big mistake firing Bout Pelini he must be laughing. I'm afraid for Nebraska and saddened for fans of BIG RED COUNTRY I agree. We tried to hire Riley when he was the OC of the Saints I think it was. The Chargers were still paying him from where they fired him and if he got the Bama job he wanted us to pay the difference in pay he was going to lose from the Chargers and we told him to screw off. I would have rather had Mike Shula than Riley after seeing him coach. I think Nebraska screwed up big time, you'd think they would have learned after firing Solich but I guess they want to bomb again?
