malandrino........ jimmy burke right. Yep it's Burke being arrested by the feds after Henry flipped I think. You gotta admit, he looked badass in that picture... he was one tough, crazy Irishman.
-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

I would love to see a book about him, from his upbringing to the great robbery, I bet it would be very interesting. he was greatly feared. murder meant nothing to him. make a great read.

I think this thread is still salvageable.. we could talk about the most interesting mugshots. I agree, Lucky's is pretty much literally the face of Cosa Nostra.
I agree with this, but didn't want to nominate Lucky Luciano and appear self serving. In one mob documentary (don't we just love those video collages?), a man who met him in the old days said "and you never looked him in the eye....it was weird". I can just imagine. To do what Lucky Luciano accomplished, serial killers needed to fear you. Was Lucky Luciano that dangerous? I think yes when we consider what became of Louis Buchalter.

Jimmy Burke had the eyes of a killer that is for sure, either that or he was jacked on coke. Burke was almost as fucked up on speed and pills as Hill was. And as everyone knows, that's really saying something.

That's why the guy was so paranoid, especially after the whole Lufthansa deal. I always thought he was just a paranoid psychopath, but add speed or coke into the mix and you got yourself a much bigger problem. malandrino........ jimmy burke right. Me too but I don't think we're gonna get anything more. Henry was pretty much one of the only surviving members of Jimmy's crew/friends... but then again a lot is known about him already. He pretty much lived his whole life in and out of foster care and prisons later on. He was abused a lot during his childhood. Nowadays his name is synonymous with Goodfellas and/or the Lufthansa heist. @Alfa: That must have been awkward, you couldn't look at Lucky in the eye.
