Dave's sons Lenny and Ronnie were both murdered in the 70s and 80s after he passed. Lenny stayed in Chicago while Ronnie went to Florida. Both of the sons inherited various rackets from their father. Lenny Yaras was called "Little Lenny" because he worked for Lenny Patrick in Chicago until he was killed in 85.

Both David and Lenny were involved with the Trafficantes in Miami and Tampa.
