I was already at Waldbaums out in College Point this morning. There's the toll each way but it's a nice store and it's just easier than fighting traffic up in Westchester. Anyway, between the Thanksgiving shoppers, and the little old ladies killing each other over milk and eggs for the snow, I don't think I've seen a supermarket any busier on Christmas Eve (although the South Florida Publix stores can give them a run during Passover).

I was gonna say that you're lucky that you're in such a small town now. But I guess it's all relative because the stores are smaller, too. I've been to Price Chopper and those chains in mid-state New York during the winter, and they're every bit as crazy as they are down here. So good luck lol.
