The only problem with that logic, is that all of nj was never the decalvecantes territory, NY has been here since the beginning.


For what it's worth, (second hand information here)I believe most DeCavalcante men were originally from the Peterstown section of Elizabeth. Newark and other Essex County towns was New York or Philadelphia familiy guys. Hudson County was supposedly Genovese or Bonanno people.
Atlantic City is in South Jersey about 110 miles from the DeCavs neighborhood in Elizabeth. About 60 miles from Philadelphia.
