I got teary eyed during that scene. It was so emotional. One of my favorites. For some reason also, I really am looking forward to seeing Rick & Carl's reaction to baby Judith being alive. A happier moment in WalkerWorld I'm sure.

I tell everyone it's not the zombies (notice they are NEVER called zombies in WD) so much as it is the storylines. Granted walkers are a big part of the story, but you get more involved in the human aspect/survival. Know what I mean?
Of course the fact that it's well written and well acted add a whole lot to it. So many "zombie" movies/shows are bloody slasher-type, lousy acted films.

Oh I'm caught up now TIS, last year when they had the marathons me and my wife was living with my parents then and my old man watched the whole thing and I went from "this zombie crap is stupid" to "hey when does the new season start". Last year was my first year to watch every episode when it first aired and not a re-run. Now I love it because as you said it is more about the characters an surviving than it is the walkers. Now I love it.
Oh good! We only have less than two weeks before new season!!
As I checked tv listings tonight, I see a non-cable channel is showing the very first two episodes of the WD series. First time it's been on any non-cable channel. Don't know if they'll do two episodes a week or if this is just a filler this week until the new season. I plan to at least watch the very first episode again, even tho I've seen it a few times. Love to see how it all started again.

TIS is on a channel called SyFy about 4 episodes into it. Lots of Zombies including Amish Zombies. LOL I liked World War Z and, I am Legend as well.
Oh, ok, now that you mention it, I think I've seen the title in the tv listings but have watched the show.
I didn't mind World War Z either even tho the zombies in that film moved much faster than in WD. I'm spoiled to WD and it's pretty hard to top it IMHO.

TIS LOL, I agree with you, WD is the best but I never seen faster Zombies than in I am Legend. World War Z is a close second. I like them slow too. LOL
For all you zombie fans out there i would definitely recommend a UK shows which was on a few years ago, its called Dead Set and is about a zombie outbreak which happens to evolve around some Big Brother contestants. There is five episodes, TIS i know you will like it..

Ok guys, we are down to 3 days!! If you all were in the neighborhood I'd host a "Walking Dead" party. I'd have an all you can eat (not humans tho) and drink!!!
Here's a trailer (you may have seen) to get you pumped up for Sunday. Couple observations
1. The creepy Terminus leader telling Rick he never wanted to harm them....see Rick's look. Almost like he's gonna take a bit out of him. Ha ha
2. I know nothing about bow/arrows, but Darryl's seems a bit more elaborate no?
3. At very end of clip we see Beth. Not sure where she is, but doesn't look too good for her either.
4. I LOVE the couple scenes with Rick holding baby Judith. Ok, so they don't have to build an entire story around it...BUT I hope they show Rick/Karl's reaction seeing she did not get killed. Just me.

Btw, I am always amazed when I hear Andrew Lincoln and they girl who plays Maggie speak with their English accent. You'd never know it watching the show.

I know that the Governor was also British. I couldn't even guess who else is. I really think that Andrew Lincoln is an excellent actor. Of course all the actors are great which makes a huge difference. Lousy actors could make a great show like WD look cheesy.
