Yeah, you can't "selectively" rat anymore. The Feds let Sammy Gravano hold back a few things that would have hurt a few guys in his old Tali's crew (not that that absolves him for being a stoolie), and it came back to bite them in the ass.
Nowadays, if you hold something back and the Feds find out---and they WILL find out---it will negate your plea bargain and you risk being re-sentenced.
