I thought Nick Caramandi in some mob doc said that Jerry Blavat owned the house or the house was in Blavat's name. He said that is why he would show up eat a meatball sandwich and leave. I think this was in the Mobfathers Doc or the book. Maybe Caramandi didn't know. I guess Leonetti would know more. Maybe I watch Mobfathers again and see if it was in there.
The boat was in Blavats name but the house was in some swindler Leonard J. Mercer Jr's name. Scarfo bought the house from him but kept it in his name.
Crow might of thought both the boat and house were in Blavats name but in reality only the boat was.
