Well you guys know more then me.

But this is what I saw in the early 60's in Harlem.

In east Harlem which was a white area back then. They build a Key Food only white people shopped their. Then I started to see delivery car service cars from black Harlem. It had three black women and they would shop like crazy in that store. I was there and we got to talking. I asked them why they came all the way here to shop.

They told me the stores where they lived over charged them for food. Plus the food was low quality. So people with pool their money to get her. They got more for their money in our store and the quality of meat and other stuff was better.

You know what some people did they buy better meat in our store go up to black Harlem and they would buy good meat from them at a jacked up price.
