It hasn't been like that for years. And the Westside was the first family to see it. They were way ahead of the curve there. As usual. Everyone from Patsy to Little Joe Dente to Chin to Barney have had to admit to being part of a larger criminal organization in order to secure plea deals.
As far as Pagano pleading not guilty, it's the standard plea at an arraignment. He can always change it later. And I'm sure he will.
