Barney got halfway through embalming school, and his interest seemed to be genuine at the time----and no, it had nothing to do with learning mortuary science as a criminal tool (I'm just adding that because I've seen that bullshit opinion pop up on other boards). But at the end of the day, his Dad's life drew him in. And the rest is history .
