There's a slight bit of difference between those things.

1.) The people going to Canada (I haven't heard anyone going to Mexico :p ) are sore losers. If their candidate would've won, the republicans would've sucked it up, but apparently, some democrats just can't handle it. I could care less. Besides, it takes about 5 years for Canadian citizenship, and the government already said it isn't expediting services to assist "political refugees" from the United States.

Please, please. Go to Canada. It helps us.

2.) The people are leaving Cuba because it is a shithole economically and politically.

Who broke off trade with the Cuba? The US did. Blaming Castro and communism alone for the poverty in Cuba is stupid. Just because America doesn't like communism, they figure it's better to let people starve to death. Oh wait, the US stopped trade because they though the Cubans would rebel, right? 40 years and counting...
