Dominicans are big into heroin too if not more so than cocaine.
I believe it, Scorsese. I only brought up the cocaine because it's been common knowledge for so many years. As far back as the early '80s, if you wanted to score some coke you jumped on the Major Deegan, got off at Yankee Stadium, and took a right over to the Heights to see the Dominicans.
I think that individual mobsters get involved at whatever level they can afford to. But i don't think we are gonna see the sort of family sponsored drug rings of the 70s anymore.
