Pat disappeared in 1976. Can't say for certain that Galante was behind it, but the rumor is that either Salvatore "Toto" Catalano or Baldassare "Baldo" Amato told the Genovese crime family, that Carmine was involved in Eboli's disappearance some time in the spring of 79'. Anthony "Tony Ducks" Corallo boss of the Lucchese crime family, felt that Galante was behind Andimo Pappadio's murder in 76'. Both Eboli and Pappadio were heavy in drugs and turned massive profits for both of their families. By the Late 1970's, the Bonanno's were raking in the majority of drug profits, which made the other New York families wonder and jealous about the money the Bonanno's were making during this time.
