Scary stuff, MC. I had the same line of storms move through my area yesterday about noon (there was a tornado warning issued at the same time). I was watching the storm as it moved in and was amazed at one particular lightning bolt. It was extremely bright and it "cracked" at the instant of happening. The thunder was EXTREMELY loud. The electricity went out a few minutes later and remained out for two hours. The storm(s) continued for as long.
