Losing to Belgium is no disgrace and they played with great heart and spirit. With Jurgen at the helm the future is bright for you guys!!
Soccer has been picking up interest with the youngsters, but the problem in the US is the wide variety of sports that kids become involved with.....and all those obese kids building up their thumb muscles with their smart phones. The talent pool is diluted. And I hear that there are minimal number of good coaches at all levels.
BTW, Belgium is geographically the size of Maryland with a population the size of Ohio.
