I was a Cub/Boy Scout for many years -- and achieved Eagle ranking, myself... but it's not an obvious answer -- and I support gay rights. Homosexuals are actually less likely to abuse kids than heterosexuals, so it's a no-brainer to me: only hire homosexuals!

He's just following the marching orders of his boss who conveniently discovered his support for gays after he was elected.
The Boy Scouts is one of the last remaining wholesome, traditional institutions we have and it's no surprise the liberals/homosexuals want to pervert that too. You do know that the Boy Scouts of America or BSA is full of pedophiles right? It's almost as bad as the Roman Catholic church and Mormon church are since they too have a high number of sick ass pedos.

It's almost as bad as the Roman Catholic church and Mormon church are since they too have a high number of sick ass pedos. I don't think I've ever read a more ignorant nor misinformed post in my life!! o.O Geoff, congratulations on making Eagle scout rank when you were younger. I am sure you learned leadership skills that serve you still. I had lots of fun in scouts. Thank you, Sir. And I'd like to think that I have. But teen preparation doesn't necessarily mean adult success, necessarily... but it helps
