The sun finally made an appearance. But now it's kinda muggy out. Can't win .

Strange day in central PA today. Started sunny, then suddenly dark and rainy, then sunny, hot and humid, then rainy, the sun came out again and then thunder, lightning and darkness, and now it's pleasant.

Same here, Klyd. Weird day. Almost reminds me of Florida in the summer.

Well, we are already into a steady diet of 90+ degree weather. Of course, this is Texas and it's only going to get worse.

I watched the US Open from Pinehurst all day today. Every golfer was dripping wet with sweat. Mickelson literally looked like he got thrown into a pool with his clothes on.

Wasn't that the campaign slogan for Rick Perry's second term?

I had to go to Pinehurst Friday for a medical appointment and not only was it hot and muggy, but traffic was horrendous. Many people walked miles just to get up there without dealing with the traffic. Also, we also have a week of 90's coming up.

The women's open starts tomorrow and temperatures are predicted to be 97 degrees. With the heat index it ought to be over 100

Roasting out there today...mid 90s. A hot wind. I did a 10 mile bike ride this morning between 6:30 and 7:30 am on the AC-Ventnor boardwalk. It was 78 degrees then. Nice ride. The boardwalk was almost empty.

We're hot here, about 90, but little humidity. Not bad.

It has been perfect here the last couple weeks, with temps 80 - 85 and sunny. Can't complain at all. I'll say it again, you just can't beat California weather.

Are you in the Bronx PB? South Jersey is hot, but the humidity is 48% and in my house it is 52%.

Yeah, we're in New York, MC. Although it was probably just as hot here as it was in Florida today. But in all fairness, I was working in the yard this afternoon. So maybe it wasn't quite as hot as I made it out to be.

At any rate, rain tomorrow morning should cool things off .

Killer thunder storms last night. There must have been 5 lightning strikes a minute for 20 minutes. Lots of rain. Not too bad today. A little cooler (82) and cloudy.

One thing I miss. Big ol' thunderstorms. Very very very seldom do we get them.

Gorgeous in southern CT today. Hopefully a good weekend. My youngest turns 1 today and big party for him tomorrow.

Happy Birthday to Little Cheech. And many happy times and memories for you in the coming years as you watch him grow. And they do grow up amazingly fast.

It's been like this since the weather changed it seems like. Was hoping we'd get a storm just to cool down but still just as hot and sticky today as it was yesterday. It's 88 with a 73 dewpoint as I type so it's even muggier today. Going to be miserable once we hit the high today. Luckily it's only supposed to be 90

We have them just about every afternoon down here in the summer. Some of the storms put on quite a show with the lightening.

My family thinks I'm crazy when I visit MI and am happy when I hear there will be a thunder storm. Something is neat, especially at night, muting the tv, turning out the lights and listening to the thunder/rain.

My dad use to tease me about the nice weather here in CA. He'd jokingly say "don't you get sick of the same thing day after day?"

That being said, it is another 85ish day, sunny and bright. Maybe dad was right.
