They really don't make them like that anymore. Those guys are true gangsters.

When Casso was burying Amuso in his book he inadvertently made him look good. Here is Casso scratching and clawing.. doing everything he can to avoid prison.. he wants Amuso to escape prison on horseback.. Amuso knew it was a stupid idea. He knew the jig was up. He stayed in prison and has kept his mouth shut ever since; while Casso won't shut the hell up and accept why he is there.

I wonder what happened to Casso's kids? I wonder if they have any relationship with him? They were supposed to be angry when he ratted.. and it took its toll on his wife's health too, they probably hold that against him. Maybe she wouldn't have been extorted if he had been a more honorable wiseguy.

As for Lastorino, Zappola and Baratta's financial affairs, Baratta is wealthy because he still has his own table at Rao's and I think his son is in the mafia too. Perhaps Pizzaboy knows.

I think I read here too that Zappola was transitioning back into the mob when he left prison. He's still young enough for it anyway and he has the pedigree.

I'd say Lastorino is persona non grata after what his son Carl did.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.
