Carlos Marcello would be a great subject for a well done biopic.
His control of the Mafia in Louisiana was unchallenged for 30 years, and there are some great storylines in his career.

He allowed Frank Costello to bring in his slot machines after Frank became the target of LaGurdia's reform movement in New York City.

He was basically kidnapped by the Feds and deported to Guatemala,of all places.

He was a mutimillionaire from his legitimate business interests.

He was powerful enough to enforce a "no Mob guys in Louisiana" policy. No Mafiosi was allowed to visit, even for vacation or to go to Mardi Gras, unless he got explicit permission from Carlos.

Like Castellano and Gambino,he made sure that his descendents were established in legitimate enterprises.

Although he did go to prison a couple times, his power, influence, and income never suffered.

All in all,a pretty cool Mob story.
