There is a part of the bronx called Eastchester, is that where Torre grew up? Or the town of East Chester?
No, Tore didn't grow up in the Eastchester section of the Bronx. He grew up in the
Town of Eastchester, which is in between Bronxville and Scarsdale in Westchester County. Very suburban. Very well-to-do. I know it's confusing, but I guess if you're not from around here, it's even more confusing.
But FYI: No one really calls it the Eastchester section of the Bronx. Not if you're from here. That's like a Channel 12 traffic and weather term
