If somebody ever doubted whether he was guilty, what happened now certainly shows he IS. Had he been innocent, they wouldn't have bothered with overturning the conviction on technicalities, while it becomes perfectly logical since he is a crook with connections. I hate it when people say "respect the verdicts", because I always think about cases like this.
