Ave J gang was there really an Ave J gang?

They have a park on Ave J. When I found it was a Haitian area. the Haitians would play soccer from dusk to dawn. I would play soccer with them it was fun.

They put two garbage cans 1 on each end of the field. Those were the goals you hit it you scored.

When my son was 9 I would take him there and we all would play. Could be 3 on a side or 14 on a side who ever was there. Any age 7 yr old to in my case at that time in my early 40s.

We were the only white people there. They were always very friendly to us
