I agree with you in principle, Gets. But Baldwin is such an overt liberal, from his Huffington Post columns to his stint at MSNBC, that I'm sorry, but he has to be held to a stricter set of standards. There's no bell curve for him.

I ,don't take the average celeb seriously when they are talking about real world issues...with rare exceptions.
Their money and fame get them access to promote issues/causes that are important to them, but promoting a certain issue or voting a certain way doesn't tell me how the person lives behind closed doors
Lot of celebs are so far removed from REAL life that their views on some issues are worthless.
