We'd agree that many people are asleep.
Like I said in the Spike Lee thread.....the media would have us believe that the face of racism is a good ol boy nascar fan from Miss. or a working class east coast Italian guy. Certainly there are open and vocal racists from those backgrounds(a few of the latter group on this very board) but those are some of the "types" that are stereotyped as racists in American media.Apparently, nobody else is racist which is one of the biggest lies ever pushed.


There are prejudiced and/or racist members of EVERY group in the country including some of the groups who have historically been on the receiving end of extreme prejudice and hatred...jews,blacks and homosexuals. Again, those who work around the city know what I'm talking about.
