Be glad y'all just getting rain up there, we had tornadoes and all kinds of crazy shit this week. I just got back from Jackson Mississippi working an EF-3 tornado that hit there. I'd much rather ride out a hurricane than a tornado any day of the week.

We went from 83 and muggy in Jackson to a chilly 40 something this morning in Alabama. It's cold!!!

It's been hot here all week, reaching around 100° for the past 4 days. On Thursday the heat index read 105°! Should cool down by tomorrow, though, thank goodness.

That's nothing. My town has two seasons at the same time - warm winter and cold spring (it's currently a very windy 55°, but it's delightful).

Going to be 85-86 and clear all week here. We deserve it after all the bad weather. I think hurricane season will be bad even though they think it wont be bad.

I'm about 300 miles from the coast, I'm halfway (almost) between Birmingham and Atlanta. When hurricanes go due North (like Ivan) we get put under hurricane watches/warnings even here. So we get everything here, tornadoes, thunderstorms, snow/ice, and humid unbearable heat come summer.

Last few days it's been 89 but today we hit our first 90 of the year in eastern North Carolina. Clear blue skies and gentle breezes. Just about time to hit the beach.

Rained overnight but fresh blue skies today and we have been promised a bit of a heat wave over the weekend. Woohoo!!
