Moe,
Heat was great too, was Copland the one were Stallone played a local Sherriff?
Australian,
Bardem was great in No Country for Old Men, Stone Cold Killer! Javier Bardem was tyrannical in that role. My favourite Cohen movie for sure

Al Capone with rod Steiger
A "B" movie made memorable by Steiger's performace. He was the greatest screen actor of his generation, and his "Capone" was his finest role. Steiger was something much better when he was younger. Not crime related but he was fantastic in the Pornbroker.

No love for Edward G as Johnny Rocco, TB? Thought he was great in Brother orchid. Fantastic in the Sea wolf. Thought he was miss cast in the ten commandments. But, he was the only one in that movie who spoke Hebrew in that movie.

No love for Edward G as Johnny Rocco, TB? Much love for Eddie G. as Johnny Rocco in "Key Largo," PB. He made Caesar Enrico Bandello ("Little Caesar") look like a choirboy. Though I always liked "Key Largo," it's a bit on the stagy side, with Barrymore hamming it up. IMO, Robinson is probably the all-time most underrated screen actor. The gangster roles, good as he was in them, tended to overshadow his other performances. He was just brilliant in "Double Indemnity." He was the only reason to watch "Cincinnati Kid" and "Soylent Green." As for "The Ten Commandments," well... 'Nyah, where's yer Redeemer now, nyah, nyah..."
