I was told that my Grandfather's rum running crew worked in conjunction with and answered to the Maggadino Family in Buffalo but I have no firsthand knowledge of this. The story goes that my Grandpa did 8 years for manslaughter for killing a guy who tried to rob him. He did his time quietly in a prison near Buffalo and got noticed by a guy that he did time with that was connected to Buffalo. Here is what I did see. My Grandpa and Father had a clambake on Lake Ontario every summer. I have some old photos that my Mom gave me and will try to find and post them, I may need some help, not sure how to upload pictures Some of the guests over the years were Angelo Aquisto, Stan Valenti, Rocco Perri, and John Tartamella. I'm sure they all just came for the great clams though
