I was there for the sentencing even though I was only like 12 or 13 at the time. My father was the court clerk for Judge Richard Owen and I was fascinated with the courts at that time and was able to sit in on a lot of high profile cases.

Anyway, Judge Owen had a real hard on for mafiosi more than any other criminals, which is why his sentencing was so harsh for this case.
