Back in Chicago, I actually have in storage 5-6 of the actual wiretap cassette tapes from the Jahoda/Infelise/DeLaurentis case. Back in the late 90s, I was helping to clear out an old warehouse on the near north side that was slated to be condo-ized, and there was a whole pallet of boxes filled with cassette tapes. Intrigued by the notations on the tapes, I decided to take a few with me, and later I realized what I had.

The tapes I had were all of Jahoda and Solly D or Jahoda and Infelise, mostly in cars but also from a restaurant by 25th and North Aves. Sound quality was not so great, and I've not listened to all of them, but what I did listen to was interesting enough.



Wow, so You were the guy that posted in that Infelice family blog?

How the heck does that happen? Was it seriously just by chance? If you ever get your paws on those tapes again, there are countless people that would love to hear them!
