I agree that Alphonse may not have been made under Carlo but they would have taken his cash all the same. I would go out on a lam here and say when Alphonse is on the street he may be in the top 10 most influential guys in the entire mob. Please feel free to refute me as this is just my opinion.
I don't see why he wouldn't have been made under Carlo, he's clearly a very capable guy. You've got to remember that Carlo made guys like Quack Quack, a moron who would talk about everything over a phone. Obviously Angelo was Dellacroce's nephew, but still Carlo must have known what he was like.
