Lou monacello only reason for ratting was cause he was going to jail, I've seen it 100 times, it's all good playing gangster when the sun is shining, but as soon as the thunder starts they crawl under there bed n ask for help....Fuckin coward pretender Karmas a muthafugga, even for rats!!
Lou has done time before and he wasn't looking at that much time in this indictment. I think he just anticipated the Philly family crumbling with all these guys getting arrested. Therefore going to jail would mean he'd be coming out with nothing. Had Ligambi, Boregsi and others went to prison for 10+ years, where would that have left Lou when he was released? With nothing. So he said fuck these guys and ratted to at least avoid prison time. He didn't care about the family at all and was all about himself. I think if he could do it all over again after seeing how weak the indictment was, he wouldn't have ratted. He could of even been acquitted. It was a bad call on his part.
