If U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno approves the request, Ligambi would be released from federal custody for the first time since his arrest in 2009.
For a reporter he seems to have gotten his info wrong this time. Ligambi was arrested May 23, 2011 not 2009.
3yrs is still a LONG time to be locked up.
