Fosco's new podcast was a complete joke. He claims magnafichi was gonna whack him at his house with the video crew there to do a podcast. Who in the hell does a hit with a production team present. And his comment about the video crew leaving after the show, then getting whacked was ridiculous. After watching, its obvious what happened. Mags got suspended for being accused for stealing money out of a wallet. The money probaly got stolen by the drug users or the stripper broads that were there the same time fosco was there when they were all at the millionaire portillos mansion. Mags got pissed for getting blamed for something he didn't do. Got suspended. Now fosco makes up a BS story to make his website intriguing. This whole ANP thing is a joke. The 3 of them looked like horrible actors throughout the whole podcast.

Was a complete joke. Fosco is a weird, weird son of a bitch. The only thing people want to hear about is albie/dominic & Cicero/Chinatown, and maybe some old Elmwood park stories. No one cares about the magnafichi nonsense.

Who says he has a "video crew?" Looks to me like he uses an iphone. You can barely hear anything with the wind coming through. If he has a video crew, they must be under the age of 10.

And while I know we all rag on this guy, I got money on the fact that for every new podcast he does, you still watch it and read the comment threads. Just admit it. It's entertaining as hell.

I am guessing you are right about the iPhone, and his "crew" is just his buddy Alex. He also refers to his blog as an "online magazine" or "internet newspaper." Fosco refers to his blog entries as "articles," and for a while didn't know how to get them posted, so he would email them to Alex (American News Post's one man "Tech Department") who logged in and posts them.

I think Joe is an entertaining guy and not really all that bad of a guy. Some of his claims are credible, while others obviously are not. Overall, American News Post is entertaining and often funny. Fosco has this goofy fake lawyer quality to him that comes across both on the blog and on camera that really makes me laugh. Seeing him on camera acting like a talk show host, with his superficial grin and his hands strategically positioned in front of him with the fingertips just barely touching is too much.

Joe is a lot of things, but he is not a good person to be enemies with.

I agree. What was the point of having her on if Fosco was going to be mean to her. Anyone notice how he earlier promised to talk about Vena and Dominick in depth, but all we got was a few sentences? Hardly the hard hitting "article" he promised to deliver. I used to follow ANP daily, but it just seems like he's really reaching these days. I have a feeling he won't be around a year from now.

I really don't follow it much anymore either. It's kind of a circus. Although I guess I'm glad it's around, since it is literally the only Outfit "news" site that exists.

But the minutia of the "news" of who said what to whom when and these wild accusations flying left and right doesn't really have much to do with the Outfit in any meaningful sense.

I actually don't. I'll glance over an article and read some of the comments once in a while, but very casually, and I have never listened to a podcast.

The Magnifichi stuff pretty seemed unbelievable at first but from what people are posting here it seems to have descended into absurdity/buffoonery.

Ashleigh D'Andrea is the great-niece of Nick D'Andrea of Chicago Heights whose murder was cleared in the Family Secrets trial. Nick Calabrese, Jimmy Marcello, Hatch, and Black Sam were involved...and one of the Guzzinos.

As far as the intended story, Fosco was supposed to address some readers' questions about Magnafichi and the Tommys of the Grand Avenue crew who were friends with both Mags and Albie. Instead, he ended up spending 99% of the time talking about Magnafichi and acting like a cross between Peter Jennings and Liberace. That funny fake smile and head-turn in the video makes me laugh every time I watch it.

I will watch the next video to see if he really goes into detail about Vena.

God damnit the guy is a hoot. The magnafichi descriptions were so comical. Joe is a showman. His mannerisms are absolutely hysterical. The way he talked down to the broad caused me to chuckle uncontrollably.

Not sure if its accurate, but earlier I read something about a guy with the last name d'andrea who botched a hit, was dating very young girls at the time. One of the girls, was 15. I was wondering if it was a relative to the new host named ashley on ANP. The article states that d'andrea age 43, was dating a 15 yr old at the time of the botched hit. Also, wasn't their a d'andrea in the family secrets trial?

Hard to watch from a quality standpoint. It's might be just me but Fosco is horrible IMO.
However I give him some credit as he is basically the only outlet still covering Chicago LCN regularity . With 30+ so made men on the street it's got to be hard to come up with regular news items, although his topics are mostly old stuff , it is still interesting . Anyway I only read the articles as the podcast is unwatchable IMO but if there are a couple that are can't miss from an information standpoint, then I'd like to give em a try and see if I can get thru them , sorry but Fosco is just a terrible on air personality , lol , maybe it's just me tho .

D'Andreas are normally private about past involvement & have done a great job of escaping media. Not a whole lot is known about them, unless you're an Illinois native. In almost every area of chicago outfit or mob, they are found. Some might even say Anthony D'Andrea was the father of the 'Chicago Outfit'. The few casts that D'Andrea did, it looked like she wanted to say more than she could, kept talking about two uncles being murdered. I wish those mob nut-huggers would've shut their mouths and let her speak. Where did she go?

Then again, he's merely the bastard son of Armond Fosco & as sad as that sounds, it's the best thing he has going for him! Fosco hides behind a once respectable name. Word on the street is that his brothers have disowned him, warning of his con-artistry & sociopathic alcoholism LOL. All well.
