This crew was originally headed by Tommy "Bullets" Licata, a Lower Manhattan guy. When he died in 1952, the crew merged with a Brooklyn crew and the new skipper became Cosmo Frasca. In late 1960s, Frasca had legal problems and was also subpoenaed so he temporarily stepped down and made Anthony "Hickey" DiLorenzo the acting captain. DiLorenzo was a younger guy but none of the senior members wanted the job. When DiLorenzo was indicted in the early 1970s, Frasca was back as crew leader. Sometime later in the 1970s, Frasca stepped down due to old age. It´s possible that the crew was then disbanded and split, because none of the other guys in that succession line (Contaldo, Malangone and Gangi) were Frasca crew members.
