Wait, "Running Scared?" Is that about a guy who is in possession of a gun that killed someone?  If so, that movie was just on tv two days ago. I couldn't finish watching it but it looked pretty good. He was the main star right? Yup...i'm pretty sure you were watching Walkers movie. I thought it was pretty decent myself. Chazz Palminteri was in it too. I loved Running Scared. Great movie. Anyway, I'll forego the obvious irony jokes about this.

Just read Nelson Mandela has died. He was 95. RIP What a shame; what a great man. RIP And I think it's the first time ever that a decedent was on every list.

I remember being so excited to see him at Tiger Stadium in 1990. That must have bee AWESOME, Lilo  . And if I remember correctly, that was about the ONLY thing to get excited about at Tiger Stadium in the early '90s  (save for Cecil Fielder, of course).

Two of my favorite films of his were The Ruling Class and My Favorite Year.
The films were as different as night and day, but he gave, IMO, Oscar-worthy performances in both.

Tom Laughlin, 82, the actor made famous by his portrayal of "Billy Jack" also died (a few days ago). SC, I just now read that story and was about to post it too. I only know him from the Billy Jack films which were really big back in the 70s. Anyone remember the theme song "One Tin Soldier?" How weird that I just heard that song yesterday. Hey, I babysat this weekend. I'm not all here.  I do remember Joan Fontaine. Tho I can't list, off top of my head, all of her films, my parents were fans. I remember there was a 4:00 "early show" every weekday and many times they aired her movies. And 96 yrs old. Wow!! RIP TIS
