Maishe Rockman's kid and John Scalish's kid (first cousins) both run a body shop in the Mentor area of Cleveland, which is very successful and a cash business. Both kids are not involved and supposedly are good guys to deal with when your car needs work. Remember, John Scalish owned Buckeye Vending, which was the most lucrative vending machine company in NE Ohio and was a "legitimate" business. Although many business owners "probably rented or bought their machines from Scalish out of fear," nobody ever complained they were forced to deal with Buckeye Vending.

I remember him getting mentioned in the DiMora case to about the extent that No Nose got mentioned in Family Secrets - sort of there in the background, and acknowledged as important, but there was not enough to tie him directly to the case.

Much appreciated Scalish. Your posts are very enjoyable as well and your enthusiasm for the Midwest families is great...there is a small contingent of people like us that still enjoy learning about powerful families that are now defunct. Last of the Mohicans so to speak.

I second that. JCB is a gentleman and he's very knowledgable about an area (Ohio and Western Pennsylvania ) that, as a New Yorker, I don't know much about.

But some people have lives that are so small and unrewarding, that all they can do is come here and troll. But the good news is, after they ultimately get banned from here, they'll still be living with their drug problems beneath the poverty line.
