if you know your going to have to do time, how long would you do in jail for a million? i was thinking about this since i was reading about how merlino basically said screw you to his comrads when he did the money truck heist and instead of splitting up the money he did 3.5 years for 300 grand and i was thinking i wouldnt do more than 5, if you make 100 grand a year you can make a million in ten years so it doesnt seem like anything more then that is worth it

Depends on the prison I'd be sent to. I'd do a year in a minimum security prison or a medium security prison that wasn't that violent.

To me how much time i would be willing to do all depends on how good the drugs are that i could get my hands on and how often i could get them.

I think alot would depend on which prison and security level. Big difference between doing time at a prison like Trenton State and doing time at Bayside(used to be Leesburg)

Not even talking about doing it for money but if i really had to do a stretch i think my mental limit would be 5 years. If i thought i was going away for anything longer then that i would go into the wind. But anything less then 5 years isn't worth running for the rest of your life so that would be my max.

Depends if I asked this question in the 50s or 60s, everyone would made one year for $ 1 million. Now you have to raise the stakes, I for € 5 million, I'd do a year even in the worst prison of Italy.
