I never heard of this guy, he's supposedly a longtime colombo member and big earner. He was never arrested until recently at eighty something years old. He just got sent back for parole violation. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/back-jail-old-mob-guy-article-1.1481168

And it wasnt a parole violation, he violated the conditions of his bail, so hes gonna be starting his 6 month sentence now instead of december. Hes still lucky, if the feds had their way he wouldve gotten a couple years, not just 6 months, and at his age thats a big difference.the judges sure have been easy on the colombo guys layely, first russo, then farese, now rizzo all getting prety light sentences.

That's a bunch of bull shit. Frank (B.F.) Guerra got 14 years for falsely obtaing prescription drugs and selling them. Tommy Gioeli and Dino Saracino are about to get buried under the prison next month when sentenced despite beating the most serious charges. Ralph Deleo got a million years for being a glorified street dealer basically. The FEDS and judicial system treat the Colombos with no mercy, and they haven't played fair with them. Look at the shady ass informants they've used too, Scarpa, Calabro, Maragni, Frankie Blue Eyes, etc.

Gioeli and Saracino are going down hard because they killed a cop. mobster or not, anyone who kills law enforcement is going to get it up the ass during sentencing. And Guerra got all that time because the judge believed he was guilty of murder. i was just pointing out that a couple of colombo guys have gotten it pretty easy at sentencing lately. but your right the feds do have a history of going after the colombos hard. There has been some leniency in a few instances, but overall we've seen a lot of vindictiveness. These guys should be punished according to what they've been found guilty of, not the emotions of the judge and prosecuters. This type of behavior should be avoided at all cost and judges punished when they partake in it. I say this not as a fanboy, but as a concerned citizen who wouldn't want to be exposed to this type of so called justice.
