Mostly blacks, dominicans, and puerto ricans killing each other over being dissed About 90% of the murders, apparently. (Don't show these stats to dontomasso or Lilo)

Mostly blacks, dominicans, and puerto ricans killing each other over being dissed I suspect that Mulberry is correct, that most of the homicides are because someone thinks they are being "Dissed" whether correct or not. Is the heavy concentration of blue dots on the map the areas of Brooklyn that has gained a large number of blacks ?? Or, do you just know it because of your personal knowledge of the NYC area?? Has the Times ever published the racial makeup of the homicides or would that be too politically incorrect?? Criminality of a person doesn't relate to his race, but the situation he's living in and reason why the crime has been done. You can raise a black person in a high class neighborhood and he'll be graduating Harward, and you can raise a white kid in the ghetto and he'll be a drug dealer.

The area of Brooklyn where most of the murders are taking place is Crown Heights, a traditional black neighborhoods, also a very poor one. Polak is right in saying crime is an economic problem not a racial one
