What do we know about Sammartino? Seems quite a powerful guy.

I'd like to know a bit more about him, and the Bonannos' Jersey faction in general if anyone can help.

He was busted with 14 others guys back in 2009, including fellow captain Anthony Sclafani and acting captains Joseph Loiacono and Anthony Pipitone, on charges of racketeering, bookmaking, video poker machines, loansharking, marijuana trafficking, check forgery, weapons possession, among other crimes. The case was out of the Eastern District in New York but included Bonanno activities in New Jersey, which Sammartino is said to oversee.

He was originally with the gambinos, was able to get released cause they weren't gonna make em, then he got hooked up with the bonnanos
