That Ali-Foreman fight was amazing you could tell he was no longer in his prime but he still found a way to beat one of the hardest ever punchers. There's a sad part to that fight though because it must have been one of the main factors in his health prolems nowadays.


Always thought Ali should of retired right after that fight. He took a real beating those last few years.

As an Ali fan i thought that was a great fight because everyone back then thought Foreman was going to bust Ali into pieces. Around a week after the fight i finally saw the video of it. If you remember back then they would play the fight around a week later on the Wide World of Sports with Howard Cosell. So if you weren't able to get to one of the closed circuit places showing a fight they usually had all the big fights on Wide World of Sports about a week or 2 after the fight. Back then there really wasn't cable tv like we have today so our options were limited.


The amazing thing about Ali is after his win against Foreman he still went onto beat soe of the best HW'S Frazier, Norton, Spinks and another one of the hardest ever punchers Earnie Shavers. It's crazy to think what would've happened if he hadn't missed those 4 years during his prime.
