Johnny Football is in a tougher bind than he might realize. If he accepted money for autographing merchandising and thinks he and the broker can hide the transaction sufficiently from the NCAA enough to deny the accusations, he might avoid a suspension.

But if there were indeed a money transaction, he can be assured that the IRS will be able to uncover it, and there the consequences will be more severe.

The best advice for him is to be completely honest and forthcoming with the investigation, but since winning the Heisman, it seems everything this guy has done has been wrong.
