What I wouldnt give to give this punk a good beating. A 10 year old girl! Jesus Christ. He deserves whatever he gets and some more. Bronx teacher busted for raping student, 10, said to have emailed her saying, ‘I was too rough. Sorry’ A Bronx teacher accused of raping his 10-year-old student sent her a repulsive email after the attack, saying he was “too rough” but rationalizing that “it’s normal,” prosecutors say. Anthony Criscuolo, 40, sent the email to the fifth-grade student from PS 386 in Fordham Heights on Tuesday — just one day after cops say he raped her in his car. “I was too rough. Sorry. It’s normal,” he wrote in the sickening missive. “You may feel pain for a few days,” he added. As if that weren’t twisted enough, he asked, “How did it feel for you?” The teacher had told the child’s parents he was escorting her to receive an award at a school ceremony on Monday — but instead he drove her to a school parking lot on Ward Avenue and raped her, cops say. Anthony Criscuolo Yesterday a Bronx criminal judge ordered him held on $750,000 bond or $500,000 cash bail. During the attack, he placed his arms on the young girl’s arms, legs and chest, according to a criminal complaint. The criminal trysts happened repeatedly beginning in April — at least one of them in a building on East 181st Street, according to the complaint. During one alleged attack, Criscuolo kissed the victim on the mouth, unbuttoned her belt buckle, then told her, “I like you,” according to the complaint. He continued, “I’m doing this because I like you. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable . . . If you feel uncomfortable ask me to stop,” the affidavit states. When the victim’s mother found sexually explicit emails, she alerted police. The Bronx Special Victims Squad opened an investigation that culminated in the teacher’s arrest on Wednesday. Cops charged Criscuolo with rape, predatory sexual assault against a child, and endangering the welfare of a child. Students later told the The Post they had noticed the special-education teacher and the victim playing husband and wife on occasion. He had even bought her a real diamond ring, students claimed. The pair were also acting strange at a Valentine’s Day party, students said, noting that they were “dancing real close.” Cops say Criscuolo raped the girl in his silver Dodge Charger, which has tinted windows. A Department of Education spokeswoman said on Wednesday the agency plans to fire the teacher. Criscuolo had no disciplinary record before the arrest. The criminal complaint notes the acts he committed were “injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child.” Criscuolo started as substitute in The Bronx in 2002. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/sick_email_from_teacher_accused_1yI0s1MHogcCxDVGcX3uGL How absolutely repulsive. OMG!! What a POS. TIS

Our local Schools Authorities are thinking of banning kids from bringing packed lunches to school. They claim to many parents give their kids unhealthy food, ie; cans of pop, chocolate and sweets!!! however ours have always had healthy lunches, fruit and pasta salads, bottles of water and the like. I think the schools are using it as an excuse to push forward their school dinner programme, which none of my kids have ever liked. Over priced mush!!! I remember school dinners back in my day and it was just mush then as well. Of course lots of families qualify for free school dinners but we don't and I am not paying £8 a day for food my kids don't want!!! There, got that off my chest

The only thing that is monitored closely in our school district is peanut butter. Kids, who bring nuts or peanut butter as part of their packed lunch must sit at specially designated tables due to the potentially dangerous consequences from peanut allergies.

I didn't know where to post this, but this thread seemed like the one.
A new family moved into our neighborhood in the spring, and their oldest girl is about 10, but likes to hang around my daughter, who's 15, but gets a kick out of the young girl, "Annie." My daughter and her friend earlier in the Summer invited Annie to our house to swim in the pool. I met her from the deck and then noticed two younger boys, 8 and 5, watching from behind the fence.
I said hello and Annie noticed them and said they were her little brothers, who had apparently secretly followed her. I asked them if they wanted to swim, they nodded, and I told them to hurry up and jump in the pool. I grabbed some extra towels and drinks and moved to the patio as I wanted to make sure the little guy was able to swim okay.
with these blistering weeks these kids have been enjoying the pool a lot. My kids are older and don't use the pool regularly, but I'm glad these young kids come to swim. It's a delight to have them, and their mom told me that the little guy recently made a list of the friends he wants to invite to his upcoming birthday party and he included me as the only one over the age of 6.
The moral of the story is that I have found the best way to prevent feeling old is to make a point to be around small children a little bit each day. They give you a refreshing perspective on life that is needed at any age.

Awww what a sweet story. You must have really made an impression on that kid Kly. Word of advice tho, make sure to play nice when you go to his birthday party or you'll be grounded. TIS

I don't think anyone is really shocked by this, but Detroit, which was once such a neat city, has filed chapter 9 bankruptcy. As a kid we would go visit cousins every summer (one time I believe we took the train there). Whether we went for visits, weddings, anniversaries, funerals It was always a big deal going to the Detroit. Makes me sad. http://www.freep.com/TIS

In fact, when I told them what a happy sight it was to see the three little ones walking happily with their towels through the neighborhood to the house, I was hoping I didn't give the impression of a sicko.

Klyd - how wonderful to extend your hospitality to these kids. As we grow older and our kids move on, it's wonderful to have little ones around again. I don't know if it's hospitality, but how can you turn away kids from a swimming pool on a hot day. I guess I may be looking forward to grandchildren though I emphasize to my kids I'm not in a hurry for this. As a funny note, the little guy came yesterday with a big bag of little candy bars around 6 pm, which he handed to me before jumping in the pool. The girl explained it was a gift from their mom for letting them swim. He was in the pool for a few minutes when he called out to me wanting to know when we were all going to eat the KitKats. well, the 4 of us finished off the bag and you can imagine what KitKats would be like in 95 degree heat. The little guy was covered in chocolate.

However, surprisingly, neighborhood kids seldom ask to swim.

Klyd, I don't think our schools even consider anything like that. Peanut butter not as popular here as over there I don't think but many things have nut traces in them!!
hardly a day goes by when I don't eat peanut butter in some form. Last night I was spreading it on pretzels while I was hanging out. I am like that with beer. Thank god I am not allergic to that!!!!

I saw that story. How awful. Witnesses are saying she just flew out. I guess she expressed concerned about her restraint. I'm SURE we'll here more about that. Talk about a horrible freak accident. TIS
