Don't really know much about The Outfit, but was wondering if someone who knows their stuff could tell me if DeStefano was a made guy or just a big earning associate.

There are some confusion on wheather or not he was made. Bill Roemer certainly said he was not and I think Chuckie and Sam Giancana said the same in "Doublecross" (cant remember Tony Darks opinion in "mob of His own") but I would agree with the signature "chicago": of course he was made.
Italian, old 42 gang member as Giancana and a few of them other high ranking fellas, Big earner and so on - sure he was made. Irratic behaviour and a total psycho aside.
