Anyone have any good ideas for a fun 50th Anniversary? The non-profit I work for was founded in 1964, so we're planning on a celebration/fundraiser for next year. We were thinking of a "class reunion" theme, inviting past board members and son on, and the dinner journal will be designed to look like a yearbook. We're not sure what else to work in. Any ideas I can steal???

Did anyone report them through the proper channels? Two of those instances are clearly insulting, disrespectful behavior to other members, and 2 are in violation of Post Quality guidelines as set forth by the site.

I'm sleeping like 12 hours tomorrow (at least, God willing)... Mom's home now, but, was in the hospital/rehab the past 10 days. Was there each day for 3-4-6+ hours, and, ate at the hospital cafe (which is actually quite good) 10+ times (but after a week of eating nothing else, nothing's that good lol).

Nothing is that good if you are under a lot of stress.

Hey New Yorkers: I watched a program that showed that there is a flowing river running below Yonkers. It's called the Saw mill river and the City is trying to excavate it. It was covered up ages ago so that industries could be built on top of it. Are any of you aware of this project?

Appears to be so Oli. As an ex-NY suburbanite I used to commute on a northern portion of the Saw Mill River Pkwy; notorious for flooding. I wasn't aware of this project, but it sounds ambitious. I hope it succeeds. How many other natural treasures have been swallowed up by industrial and urban sprawl?
