Toodoped, in 1963 I was in grade school. I remember the cars that would be around the House sometimes. The Feds were obsessed in getting Mooney because he argued vehemently with Roemer and threatened him.
Roemer was an asshole who didn't like being disrespected.
If you'll notice, there were no cars following Tony Accardo all the time, only Giancana.
To tell you the truth I don't like Roemer also and i don't belive him much.And yes Mooney was harassed all the time,while nobody touched Joe B.What do you think about the "respect",the FBi had for Accardo?I know that theres a story(told by Roemer probably) about the "family pact" between the outfit and the fbi,but theres gotta be something more than that,like giving some inside info or something like that...
