Thanks Camarel. I was always disappointed in the series finale leaving it up to the audience to make conclusions. I do take issue with this article:
His character died in the season finale — but the audience never actually sees the moment of his death.
Say what????? I'm SURE we had this discussion on the series finale BUT I was the odd ball out. I never believed Tony Soprano died. Oh, he did but we didn't actually see it." Hu? LOL
Ok, that's another topic isn't it? BUT that was the fun part of this show. So much to discuss. I DO think it is one of the greatest, if not the greatest tv show ever.

I always thought it was obvious with that "it all fades to black" line that Tony died. I think they should of shown the Members Only Jacket guy coming up behind Tony, pulling the gun and putting it at the back of his head and then faded out to black without hearing or seeing the actual gunshot.
Maybe thats just the way i would of liked to have seen it end, but i do think Chase had him dying.
