Does anyone think they are trying to link the bodies to current Lucchese family members. Clearly Migliore, Madonna, Dinapoli, and Dom T. were active back then (amongst others). There is no SOL on murder.

Nah, they just need another excuse to piss away tax dollars when the government is already going broke. Such a waste of resources.

Creepy. Bayside Cemetery is located just behind the house. If the found remains belong to Tommy DeSimone (not saying they are, but IF), it sure looks like he was whacked by his own crew. Which in fact sounds most plausible compared to all the other explainations we´ve heard on DeSimone´s disappearance.

The article says they believe it's a "low level associate" they found and were looking for who went "missing" 30 years ago.

Maybe it's Spider. cry

Didn't they already identify Tommy D's body in another mob graveyard?

No his body hasn't been found, the mob grave he was believed to have been buried in turned up Philip "Phil Lucky" Giaccone and Dominick "Big Trin" Trinchera instead. http://edition.cnn.com/2004/LAW/12/21/fbi.graves/index.html
