In the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's & 1980's up until 1986, Chicago Outfit was more powerful than the three smaller New York Families. Genovese Family, Gambino Family (before Gotti) and Chicago Outfit were the three most powerful groups during those years. Watch the Donnie Brasco Movie which was written by the FEDS THEMSELVES and you can see how pitiful the Bonnano Family is in the late 1970's WHEN THINGS WERE STILL GOOD.
